Hoshin Kanri for the Lean Enterprise, 2nd edition

The 2nd edition of goodstrategy founder Tom Jackson’s Shingo Prize-winning book on hoshin kanri will launch in 2024. A lot has happened in the 17 years since Productivity Press published the 1st edition of this book. The 2nd edition has been completely rethought and extensively revised. In keeping with the times, the book has a new focus: strategies of innovation. It will contain a new introduction and new chapters on strategic thinking, analytics, strategy formulation, deployment design, the big room (obeya), and using hoshin kanri to manage innovation as well as operational efficiency.

In creating the 2nd edition Tom is supported by two able collaborators, Jeff Armfield and Sandi Claudel, principals of goodstrategy. Follow Tom, Jeff and Sandi on the goodstrategy blog as they complete the new case study and finalize the manuscript.
